I am an enthusiastic participant in various undergraduate courses at the University of Guelph. In 2022, I was the recipient of both the Distinguished Professor Award for Excellence in Teaching and the CBS Faculty Teaching Award of Excellence.

Currently, I can be found teaching the second and third year courses in Invertebrate Zoology! I'm very passionate about sharing and building societal enthusiasm for the little things that run our world.

ZOOL*2700 - Invertebrate Morphology and Evolution
ZOO*3700 - Integrative Biology of Invertebrates

I also regularly supervise third and fourth year students in the research project and thesis courses - contact me if you're interested!

IBIO*4500 / IBIO*4510 - Supervisor in Research Project Course
IBIO*4521 / IBIO*4522 - Supervisor in Research Thesis Course

In the past I have taught field courses in Algonquin Park and Churchill Manitoba....

BIOL*4410 - Field Course in Field Ecology (based in Algonquin Park)
BIOL*4610 - Field Course in Arctic Ecology

... and other courses across the IB curriculum.

BIOL*1070 - Biodiversity (part of a team of faculty that teaches the first year biodiversity course)

BIOL*4110 - Ecological Methods

I was the faculty adviser for the lamentably under-supported University of Guelph Biodiversity Major (2014/2015)
